In using my 4″x6″ cutoff band saw, I found that I had a hard time with small parts. I decided to improve my band saw by adding larger jaws to hold bigger parts and a counter force screw so that I can hold tiny parts. I manufactured new jaws to go on my saw and they work great!
I can now hold much smaller parts. You can see here how I held some tiny parts that would turn into shuffle board pucks. It allowed me to get another part out of the material I had on hand.
