I purchased a old Bridgeport milling machine in Sept 2015. I was looking for one to be able to use myself. As it would turn out, it was a really old Bridgeport from 1954 with serial number 21195.

Here is what I have done (as of Nov 2016):

• Replaced the 3 phase motor with a single phase motor
• Cleaned it
• Painted it
• created new handle for the spindle lock quill
• Sanded the quill gear teeth (to allow smooth movement)
• Fixed the auto feed

Here are some images of me assembling and cleaning the machine.

Then I went one step further and broke down my mill and repainted it.
